I employed Julia as a Design Consultant following our purchase of a late Victorian property in Tunbridge Wells last year. It required full renovation and I was looking for someone to advise on the restructuring and redecoration of the lower floors, into a more open plan design, but whilst still keeping the Victorian influences visible. Julia was very patient, listened and I never felt that she was forcing her choices on me, but was supplying me with fabrics and ideas that I would like. This is something that I wanted to share with other prospective clients, as it is often difficult to find somebody with this skill, which often can lead to buyers not feeling very happy with some consultants. The final look of our house has left me feeling confident that I will continue to not only love the property but be able to grow with it, as designs change and I feel more sure of my own tastes and which designers to focus on. Julia introduced me to a number of new designers that work well together and are more timeless. So modern and vintage designs have been applied to make our house a home that we are proud of and others comment on every time they spend time here.

We asked Julia to help us with the design of our living room. We had ideas that we wanted it to look mid-century and had some furniture already but could not make it fit... We had one meeting with Julia where she saw the space, discussed with us what could be done, her ideas - we debated them a bit and we got at the end a report which summarised all the improvements we could be making. They are all now in an excel and being worked on one by one!
